JagROOTS

愿景陈述: To support the University’s goal to enrich the quality of student life and the living/learning 环境.

使命宣言: To better support the transition for students entering the 十大彩票网投平台, the Multicultural Leadership Center offers JagROOTS, a mentoring program that projects accountability, dependability and minority retention.  

JagROOTS is a one-on-one mentoring program that supports students in their transition to the 十大彩票网投平台. This objective is achieved by connecting students with University facility, staff, and alumni who have common backgrounds or interest.

The JagROOTS Program is designed to help first-year, transfer, and continuing students become a valued part of the University and the Mobile area. 导师和学员 participate in a series of skill-based activities that build relationships, connect communities, and explore opportunities.

领导力学院

The iLead领导 institute is an 6 week program consisting of interactive activities and leadership development training to enhance the acquisition of student leaders’ knowledge and skills with tools for professional, intellectual, and personal development. The overall objective of this program is to enhance the acquisition of student leaders’ knowledge and skills with tools for professional, intellectual, and personal development. Each participant will learn how to critically evaluate his or her own leadership proficiency 以及商业技能.

Black 教师 and 工作人员 Association 

We create a connection where university employees can foster a great sense of community and mutual support among the Black faculty and staff. The BFSA promote academic excellence and career development through involvement with the Multicultural Leadership Center. The members of the BFSA actively work towards the University’s goal of diversity and inclusion in every aspect in the University.
